Guy Turcotte is Chairman, President and CEO, and majority investor of Stone Creek Resorts Inc. His overriding concern is to ensure that every action taken at Stone Creek’s resorts is in harmony with and inspired by the land itself.

It allows us the privileged opportunity to combine our passion for golf and other recreational pursuits with our love of nature.”

In the late 1980’s, a remarkable piece of land was discovered on the sunny side of the Bow Valley between Calgary and Banff, Alberta. Recognizing a never-to-be repeated opportunity, Guy and three partners acquired these 600 acres. In 1993 that property subsequently became Silvertip Golf Resort, and the company name, inspired by an ancient creek bed on the slope, became Stone Creek Resorts.

In 1998, the company discovered a second property, one that met the same spectacular conditions as Silvertip, and one that, perhaps, is even rarer on the earth. Today that place, inspired by the vision of the eagle which is sacred to the Shuswap people, is known as Eagle Ranch. Located in Invermere, British Columbia, Eagle Ranch is a four-season golf resort perched atop a spectacular bluff overlooking the magnificent Columbia River and sparkling waters of Lake Windermere.

In 2009, Stone Creek Resorts launched the Stone Creek Resorts Club. Utilizing both resort locations, the Club offers a wide selection of spacious, luxurious private residences combined with globally desirable amenities and maintained with Service Beyond, a trademarked elevated standard of service.

Stone Creek is, in many ways, developing and transforming alongside the two magnificent properties and the Resorts Club it holds in its charge. Both resorts began as raw land – an unusual circumstance in our overbuilt time. These properties presented themselves as a magical synthesis of water, mountains, wildlife, and vegetation in two unspoiled tracts in the Canadian West. Stone Creek, like its flagship properties, is an organic combination of elements that are just as remarkable – including decades of real estate development and venture capital prowess that form a professional bedrock upon which the company builds and grows.
